What Lifted Spirits is.
Lifted Spirits is a free 18+ worldwide friendship and peer-support community founded and based in the United Kingdom. Adults can take part in the online community from around the world.
It is built around platonic friendship and genuine connection rather than dating. Members can take part through the Lifted Spirits platform, Lifted Spirits Gaming and real-world community meet-ups where local activity exists.

What Lifted Spirits is not.
Lifted Spirits is a community, not a replacement for professional care or emergency services. Public descriptions should preserve that distinction rather than presenting peer support as professional treatment.
It should also not be described as a Discord server with a website attached. Discord has been part of the community's history, but the current Lifted Spirits product includes its own website, profiles, friendship discovery, conversations, reflections, gaming, events and meet-up journeys.
Original research is published with the sample attached.
Lifted Spirits Insights publishes selected privacy-safe aggregate findings from frozen community samples. Public summaries keep the sample, analysis date, methodology, limitations and citation wording attached so a finding cannot be mistaken for a national population estimate.
The public layer is deliberately selective. Complete privacy-safe tables, deeper interpretation, presentation-ready charts, organisational licences and bespoke aggregate analysis are handled through the research and licensing route rather than reproduced across general press pages.
Private member writing, messages, exact member locations and individual-level records are not public research material. Lifted Spirits does not sell personal member data.
The community has real-world evidence without inventing local activity.
Lifted Spirits publishes a manually reviewed archive of past community days using broad locations and approved public material. Most organised meet-up activity is currently strongest in the UK, and the community has also had meet-ups in the United States.
Future meet-up discovery is deliberately narrower than the worldwide online community. Public pages should only claim a current local plan where a current approved event source supports it, and exact dates, times, venues, meeting points and attendee information remain inside the community where appropriate.
