See what the plan actually looks like.

Meet-ups are now presented as proper visual event cards rather than a plain text list. The cover image helps sell the activity and atmosphere, while public privacy stays limited to the month and broad area.

01

A plan is often easier than 'we should hang out sometime'.

Adult friendship can stall because everybody is waiting for somebody else to organise something. Community meet-ups remove that first bit of friction by giving people an activity and a reason to turn up.

The activity matters, but it is really the repeated shared time around it that gives people a chance to become more than usernames.

02

You can know a few names before you ever walk through the door.

Lifted Spirits is an online community as well as a meet-up community. That means you can talk to people, recognise profiles and see the public shape of a plan before deciding to attend.

For somebody joining alone or rebuilding confidence socially, that can feel very different from turning up to a completely anonymous event.

03

The public page sells the plan without publishing the directions.

Approved meet-ups can show a promotional cover image, event title, month and broad area on the open web so somebody can understand what the plan is and whether it interests them.

The exact date, start time, venue, meeting point, attendee information and event conversation stay inside Lifted Spirits. A public discovery page should help somebody decide whether to join, not tell an unregistered visitor where to turn up.

04

Meet-ups are part of a wider community, not isolated one-off events.

Lifted Spirits is built so the people you meet at an event can still be around afterwards. Conversations, profiles, community spaces and future plans help make one day out part of something more continuous.

That is especially useful for adults who are not simply looking for an event calendar, but actually want to build a social circle over time.

Important distinction

Meet-ups are community activities, not supervised care.

Lifted Spirits events are social community activities. Members remain responsible for deciding whether an activity is suitable, following venue and safety instructions and arranging safe travel. Event-specific details should always be checked inside the member event page before attending.

Common questions

Before you join.

Where are Lifted Spirits meet-ups held?

Current approved plans are listed across different parts of the UK, with 9 upcoming meet-ups in the public discovery feed right now. The public cards show a broad area rather than the exact venue.

Why can I see the event image but not the exact venue?

The promotional cover helps people understand and discover the meet-up. Exact date, time, venue and meeting instructions are kept inside Lifted Spirits so the public page cannot be used as directions for turning up unregistered.

Can I come to a meet-up on my own?

Yes. Members do not need to bring an existing friend group. Many people use the online community first so they can recognise some names before attending.

Do I have to attend meet-ups to join Lifted Spirits?

No. Meet-ups are one part of Lifted Spirits. You can participate online through community features, conversations, private tools and Gaming without attending in person.

Are Lifted Spirits meet-ups for adults only?

The Lifted Spirits community is 18+. Individual event pages may also have venue-specific age or participation requirements.
