A Monday night built around familiarity, not forced introductions
Starting a new week can feel especially flat when you do not have plans, live alone, work remotely or simply want more people in your life. Monday Community Night exists to make one part of the week predictable: there is somewhere to go, people to recognise and no requirement to arrive with a friend already beside you.
The point is not speed-networking or trying to create instant best friends. Lifted Spirits uses recurring community sessions because familiarity matters. Seeing the same names, hearing the same voices and having repeated low-pressure contact can make future conversation feel much easier than starting from zero every time.
Who Monday Community Night is for
This session is a strong starting point if you joined Lifted Spirits because you want to meet people, feel less socially disconnected or become more involved in an online community without jumping straight into a highly structured activity.
You might be new to the community, rebuilding your social life after a relationship ended, working from home, living somewhere you do not know many people, or simply looking for a regular online social group in the UK. You do not need to fit a label to join.
- Adults who want to make new friends online
- New members looking for an easy first Lifted Spirits event
- People who prefer repeated, low-pressure contact over one-off introductions
- Members who want something social to return to every Monday
What actually happens during the session
Community Night is social-first rather than performance-first. The exact conversation can change with the people who attend, but the purpose stays consistent: make it easy to spend time together, join a conversation and gradually become familiar with the wider community.
There is no requirement to dominate the conversation. If you are quieter when you first arrive, you can take time to settle in. Repeated attendance is useful precisely because you do not have to make everything happen in one evening.
How to RSVP and join Monday Community Night
From the event lobby you can respond Going, Interested or Not going. Choosing Going keeps the event in your Lifted journey and allows the platform to prepare the right access before the session starts.
The live session runs through Discord, so your Discord account needs to be connected to your Lifted Spirits account before you can take part. If you discover the event before creating an account, Lifted preserves the event as your reason for joining and returns you to the same event after signup and onboarding.
- Create or sign in to your Lifted Spirits account
- Choose Going or Interested in the event lobby
- Connect Discord to your Lifted account
- Return when the event room opens shortly before the session
Your first full Community Night is free
Every free member gets one full Monday Community Night before needing Premium for ongoing full participation. The free session is there so you can experience the event properly instead of being asked to pay for something you have never tried.
The pass is not consumed just because you RSVP. Attendance is recorded from genuine event participation, with a host correction available if automated attendance ever misses somebody who was actually there.
If joining an online social group feels awkward
Turning up alone is normal here. The event is deliberately designed around members who may not already have a group waiting for them. You do not need a perfect introduction, a polished story or a reason for why you want more connection.
A useful first goal is simply to attend, recognise a few people and leave knowing that next Monday will not feel quite as unfamiliar. That is often a more realistic route into community than putting pressure on one conversation to change everything immediately.
Use Monday as the start of a wider Lifted week
Monday Community Night is one of several recurring Lifted Spirits events. Members can also join Tuesday Check-In, Thursday Quiz, Community Games Night and Friday Movie Night, as well as discover real-world meet-ups around the UK.
If your main goal is making friends, attending more than one type of event gives you more chances to meet the same people in different contexts. That can help online recognition develop into actual connection over time.
